We’re back for our first meetup of 2024! The Rising Tide Society of Utica and MVCC’s thINCubator are teaming up for an evening of connection, collaboration and inspriration.
Our main feature will be a fireside chat and Q and A with Scott Molampy of Geppetto Studios. Geppetto Studios creates one of a kind costumes, puppets, props and more for film, music videos, live shows and television. They’ve desigend creations for John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight, to The Late Show, and many many more.
We’ll discuss Scott’s path from Brooklyn to Utica, what’s it’s like to create giant props and costumes, and share stories from some of his most memorable projects. There may even be some examples of Scott’s work on display.
Doors open at 5:30pm, and our event beings promptly at 6pm, followed by more networking and connection. Expand your network and meet others who are making art, culture and building businesses in our area.
Light refreshments will be served (thanks for kicking in $5 to help us cover the cost of this event)
